"The ultimate emergency Radio is not just for emergencies.

New Voyager Radio has everything: a rechargeable battery so when you crank it, the power is stored not in a spring, but in a small but powerful Ni-MH battery. Use it for an hour just on the stored energy from a few minutes of cranking. In the sun, flip out the solar panels to listen without batteries...how cool is that?

It has a USB in and out port (switchable) so you can charge your iPhone, or anything that plugs into a USB port, or you can charge the Voyager from your computer USB port. It has a reading light, a flashlight, and a flashing red light.

You get AM, FM, and 7 weather bands with NOAA weather alert feature. Good full sound, carry strap, and soft touch finish all included. A great radio for anytime — and all the time." — Richard

RichardSolo Voyager

The RichardSolo Voyager Radio is a great little performer with AM, FM, 2 shortwave and 7 weather bands plus an easy-access NOAA emergency broadcast band.

This is a truly amazing radio because it has so many capabilities. There is a built-in rechargeable battery and you can power the radio in so many ways — via the USB port on your computer, winding the dynamo crank, or simply fold out the solar panel and capture the sun for radio play without any batteries whatsoever! Of course for the traditionalist, it also runs on 3 AA batteries.

You can charge your cell phone, MP3 player or PDA via the Voyager's built-in USB port using the easy dynamo crank. One minute of winding will provide 2-3 minutes talk time or 5-10 minutes standby time. The more you crank, the more power you generate. Includes a cable and 6 charging tips for a variety of cell phones, or use your own Apple USB cord for charging your iPhone and iPod. So many possibilities — all in one handy unit that measures just 8" x 5" x 2.6".

The Voyager is small enough for travel and allows you to tune-in to weather no matter where you are via 7 weather bands. Or keep your Voyager in "stand by" mode and be the first to know when emergency conditions arise via NOAA emergency broadcasts from the National Weather Service.

Along with robust AM & FM, two shortwave bands let you hear world news as it happens from the source. Or tune in to colorful world music from around the globe. (Shortwave is best heard at night and reception varies with location/propagation conditions.)

Includes a terrific 5-LED reading light, and a separate flashlight/SOS light for emergencies. The Voyager is splash-resistant and is coated in your choice of sky-blue or RichardSolo-green rubberized finish.

There are lots of portable radios, but none quite like the RichardSolo Voyager. It's so much more than a radio — It's nearly a necessity! Next time emergency strikes, be prepared. Order yours today.
